In the past week, my team worked on the Risk analysis and the Project Prototype.
Risk analysis went well, and I feel that our team is more aware now of things that could go wrong, and that the protocol for when things go wrong is a little more clear now.
Our prototype was made in Figma, and displayed what the game might look like in a lot of ways, and had some basic functionality. It will be interesting to see how the game will play out with actual programming and proper progress implemented, since the gameplay flow worked fairly well in Figma, all things considered.
In the next semester, I will be doing mostly sound design, as Level design and Game design are less essential since we are doing a visual novel. I think I'll be quite useful to the team, especially since I also have programming knowledge and should be able to help the team with programming when they need it.
